Sony is set to announce two new cameras by the end of July, the DSC-TX1 and DSC-WX1. Sony DSC-TX1 camera offering 10 megapixels, 4x Optical Zoom, a 3 inch LCD, Type R CMOS and 720P HD video recording in a sub-$400 price range. It will be available in black, blue, pink, and one additional color.

The Sony DSC-WX1 camera is similar to the TX1, but will be cheaper and offer 10 megapixels, 5x Optical Zoom, a 2.7 inch LCD, and Type R CMOS with 720P HD video recording. Both models of Sony HD camera will also have a G series lens and sweep panorama, but that might be limited to one model over the other. [Sony Insider]
