Medion has just announced a new next-gen HD netbook, the Medion Akoya Mini E1312. The new next-gen HD netbook powered by AMD Sempron processor 210U power-saving processor technology, an 11.6-inch HD-resolution TFT widescreen display with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels in a cinematic 16:9 format, ATI Radeon TM Xpress 1250 graphics chip and Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition operating system.

Other features of Akoya Mini E1312 include a 160GB hard disk, 1GB RAM, 6-cell battery with a 9-cell option, 1.3MP webcam including microphone, HDMI port, Bluetooth 2.1 and an in-flight mode. Its also has three USB 2.0 ports, a 3-in-1 multi-format memory card reader, 802.11b/g/draft-n Wi-Fi and an Ethernet port.

Medion Akoya Mini E1312 netbook come in black and white color, it will be available in 12 July exclusive at Aldi stores. Priced at £339.99 with a three-year warranty. [tech & gadgets]
