Velocity Micro and Acer has launched Core i7 PCs last November. HP has decided to follow them with introduced a new Core i7 on PC, the HP Pavilion Elite m9600 series. The PC offers rich entertainment features for videos, games, photos and much more.

Basic configuration consists of a core i7 920 2.66GHz processor, 4GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, graphics card NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GS and a DVD burner, priced for $950, that configuration can improved up to Core i7 940 2.93GHz Processor, 12GB RAM, two hard drives with 1TB, 1GB ATI Radeon HD 4850 graphics card and Blu-ray burner.

HP is also outs four new 16:9 monitors, the 18.5-inch w1858, 20-inch 2009m, 21.5-inch 2159m and 23-inch w2338h. The 2159m and w2338h equipped with HDMI inputs, the prices range from $170 to $300. [www.engadget.com]
